This bee responded to a 4 sec odor pulse with a fairly short latency (0.69 sec) and short duration (1.53 sec). The response terminated just after the end of the odor pulse. Note that it extend and retracted its proboscis three times during the four sec odor pulse. Thus the 1.53 sec duration is cumulative over the three extensions, which lasted for 0.27, 0.81 and 0.45 sec, resp.
