Interests
I am working on the biological and behavioral effects of Queen Mandibular Pheromone (QMP) in relation to queen acceptance and supersedure. To achieve the advantage of the use of genetically improved stocks, beekeepers must be able to efficiently re-queen and maintain known, select queens in large numbers of colonies. The ambition of my work is to accomplish a specific condition or QMP concentration level that could be utilized as a beekeeping management tool.
