Collecting trip: Recent collecting trips have included MacDonnell Rges and Kakadu, N.T. (Nov. 92) and Flinder Rgs. S.A. (Nov. 93).
Museum trips: (QDPI, QM and UQ) and ANIC to sort baeines for new Ph.D. project - Jan. 1994.
Projects in progress: 1. The ovipositor system and phylogeny of the Platygastroidea. This project is nearing completion with 16 major papers nearly completed. 2. Systematics of Australasian Odontacolus. 3. Systematics of Australasian Scelio (application for funding in 1995). 4. Molecular phylogeny of the Proctotrupoidea s.l. This project is attempting to determine relationships among major parasitoid groups.

Miscellaneous news: Other projects being undertaken in my group which might interest PROCTOS readers include: 1. Molecular phylogeny of the Hymenoptera. 2. Systematics of Braconidae - Cardiochilinae (Ph.D. project) and Microgastrinae (with Jim Whitfield (+ Ph.D. project). 3. Systematics of Gasteruptiidae (Masters project).
