Collecting trips: A trip to the Mosquitia of Honduras is planned for May 1994; the Mosquitia is a lowland rainforest area with low human population and virutally unexplored by entomologists.

Projects in progress: 1. Mass production and release of Telenomus remus for control of fall armyworm in Honduras. 2. Inventory of Scelionidae of Honduras. 3. Manual for the recognition of parasitoids of agriculture pests in Central America (to be published in 1994), include 2 Telenomus spp.

Miscellaneous news: The Agro-ecological Inventory of the Panamerican School of Agriculture has a large collection (5,000 specimens) of proctotrupoids from Honduras; some (mostly scelionids) have host data, but most are from Malaise traps; for loans or collecting trips in Honduras contact Ron Cave.

Your suggestions about PROCTOS: Maybe the newsletter could appear twice yearly?
