Collecting trip: April 1994 in Venezuela with J.L Garcia (around Maracay and atop Auyán Tepuí, 2400 m); June 1994 in Hawaii (Big Island); summer-fall in Canada (several sites in Ontario, new models of traps tested); November 1994 in Dominica, W.I. Altogether, lots of new proctos for the CNCI and friends.
Museum trip: Bishop Museum, Honolulu, Hawaii, June 1994 (all BPBM proctos sorted down to genera, primary types listed, MS).
Other activities: Teaching two courses of Hymenoptera (Honolulu and Ottawa), total of 38 participants.
Projects in progress: 1. Revision of Nearctic ldris (Part 2 with J. Denis), 2. Revision of Nearctic Opisthacantha and Lapitha. 3. Review of world Ropronia species (with K. Yamagishi), 4. Key to genera of Diapriinae of the Western Hemisphere (with J.L.Garcia), 5. New speceis of Tiphodytes from Venezuela (with J.L Garcia).
