Miscellaneous news: Married with Laura. Sons: Maarten (18) and Bas (20). After having published the platygastrid catalogue strongly occupied with the institute work: ecology and biocontrol of grassland insects (mainly tipulids and grassgrubs as well as the parasite Tiphia femorata). Had a project on slugs (nocturnal work which altered my biological clock) but staying an entomologist. Recently entered my fifties.

Suggestions about Proctos: Would be great to have it on internet. For me the good old name "proctos" is still o.k.

Other activities: Editor of a service manual for the vintage cars of VOLVO. Restauration and maintaining my 39 years old VOLVO. Horseback riding in the woods surrounding my house. Reconstructions of our house etc.

Projects in progress: Starting after a period of "rest" again but not yet made a decision on a certain project. I will continue collecting procto's in the good old Kieffer locality.
