The following people contributed to the development of the Firefly Files.

Marc Branham -  Marc is responsible for developing the scientific content for the site. He wrote most of the copy and is responsible for the scientific validity of the information. About a year ago, Marc noticed a lack of firefly-related material on the web, and the idea to build a firefly web site was born. Marc would like to mention that he has made every effort to ensure the accuracy of this web site's content. However, by providing this site, he does not assume any liability for its contents, or for information or publications of third parties on the Internet, even if accessed through The Firefly Files site. Currently, Marc is a graduate student in Entomology working on his PhD at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. The focus of his research is the evolution of firefly photic signals.

Paul Campagnoli - Paul designed the 'look' of the site,  almost all of the graphics, and all of the illustrations. He works as a web developer, and when Marc mentioned he wanted to create a firefly internet site, Paul, under the influence of a few Redhooks, agreed heartily to contribute.

Betsy Melville - Betsy worked on all aspects of the site, from writing copy to helping to develop the site structure and design. Having been fascinated with fireflies since a child, the idea of working on the Firefly Files needed no Redhooks to get her to sign on. She is also a web developer working in Columbus.

Miguel Archangelsky - Miguel provided the photographs appearing in the Firefly Files. An expert on the immature stages of New World Hydrophiloidea (a superfamily of beetles which contains many aquatic forms), he also works on the taxonomy and ecology of the larvae of other aquatic beetle families. He is currently a research scientist with CRILAR and is working in the Province of La Rioja, Argentina. Miguel received his PhD from Ohio State in 1996.
